Serious Business® represents a culmination of our legacy in the beauty industry and the commitment to continually discover and expose ourselves, our customers and our vendors to the most current thinking and concepts that have the potential to contribute to our collective growth and development.
It began with the realization that our success and achievement is directly connected to that of our customers and vendor partners. Lifelong learning and continuous improvement, a Dr. Deming philosophy we embraced 20 years ago, was at the source of creating and offering these types of business and personal development forums. The creative process we engaged in when designing Serious Business® is a demonstration of the process we believe allows us to adapt and thrive in the current business reality and in life.
Like many today we noticed that everything becomes easier—less struggle and effort—when we evolve our rapid cognition. Considering the magnitude of information coming at us—thinking that moves faster than the deliberate, conscious decision-making we usually associate with is a skill worth developing.
